Introducing Rahul Singh, Prove’s New Chief Technology Officer

We’re thrilled to announce Rahul Singh is joining Prove as our Chief Technology Officer. Rahul brings over 20 years of engineering leadership experience from companies including Amazon, Twilio and Compass. He has a proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations through hypergrowth and expansion, and we’re lucky to have him on our team.

As fraud and scams evolve and become more sophisticated in the era of AI, verifying identity is more critical than ever. Everything from buying concert tickets to completing simple purchases has become an arduous task for consumers, and companies are taking hits to their bottom lines as a result. Rahul shares our worldview that solving this problem requires us to build our products with both businesses and consumers in mind, and his experience serving both throughout his career is an incredible asset.

Rahul began his professional career at Amazon, where he spent eight years as a software engineer building AWS in its early stages. Many of the key platform components he built are still powering AWS today. He also was pivotal in designing and developing the core infrastructure powering the company’s massive retail platform, which serves hundreds of millions of customers around the world.

Most recently, Rahul was the SVP of Core Platform at Twilio for three years, where he led a globally distributed core technology team that powered their products and services. He was also the VP of Engineering & Seattle Site Leader at the real estate broker Compass, where he led engineering teams in Seattle and New York, developing software for the world’s largest asset class.

Rahul also has roots as an entrepreneur. In 2013 he founded Distelli, a startup that helped software engineers deploy code more efficiently and was acquired by Puppet in 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in computer systems engineering from the University of South Australia, and a Master of Science in robotics and artificial intelligence from Carnegie Mellon.

Rahul will be instrumental in driving engineering and innovation forward at Prove, as we continue to build the best products that allow businesses and consumers to transact confidently and without barriers. Please join me in welcoming Rahul to the Prove team.
